Modifying budget periods and amounts

After budget periods are added to a budget year, you can modify the period names and amounts. You can modify the To date of any period except for the last period in the year.

To modify budget periods and amounts:

  1. On the Budget Years page, click the Year link. The Budget page is displayed.
  2. Modify descriptions in the Name column, amounts, and To dates as necessary. You cannot change the last To date in the grid, because that is set automatically as the last day in the budget year.
    If the To date you select creates date errors in the next period, the To dates for all subsequent periods are cleared and must be specified again. You can click Cancel to reverse changes if necessary.
  3. Click Update.
